GRWM FOR A COLLEGE PEP RALLY❤️
hi everyone!
tonight i performed at our annual beat ucla rally “conquest”!
this performance was on a lit stage with strobe lights and fog, so i had to be performance ready!
my favorite base combo is the elf halo glow + haus labs foundation -> creates the most smooth and glowy base!
another fave lately has been the refy brow gel, literally doesn’t let my brows budge!

Getting ready for a college pep rally is always a mix of excitement and a little bit of planning! Whether you're performing like I did, or just cheering from the stands, looking and feeling your best is key to soaking in all that amazing school spirit. Beyond just finding the perfect makeup, there's so much more to consider to make your rally experience unforgettable. For pep rally makeup, especially if you're going to be active, longevity is everything. I learned this the hard way! While a glowy base is beautiful, ensuring it stays glowy and doesn't melt off under those hot lights or during a high-energy dance is crucial. My top tip is always to start with a good primer – it creates a smooth canvas and helps your makeup adhere better. After applying my foundation and concealer, a light dusting of translucent setting powder, especially in the T-zone, makes a huge difference. And don't forget setting spray! A good setting spray acts like a shield, locking everything in place. For eyes, waterproof mascara is a non-negotiable; you don't want any smudges, especially if you get teary-eyed from all the excitement or sweat. And for those bold school colors, long-wear liquid eyeliners or cream shadows are your best friend. Now, let's talk pep rally outfit ideas! This is where you can really showcase your school pride. For performers, comfort and flexibility are paramount, often meaning athletic wear in school colors. But for spectators, the options are endless and fun! My go-to is usually a comfy oversized school T-shirt or hoodie paired with jeans or leggings. If I'm feeling extra spirited, I'll layer a jersey over a long-sleeve tee. Don't forget accessories! Think headbands, scrunchies, or even temporary tattoos in your school's mascot or colors. DIY spirit wear can also be a huge hit – grab some fabric paint and jazz up an old tee or make a custom banner. And always, always check the weather forecast! Layering is smart for those rallies that go from sunny afternoon to chilly evening. Comfortable shoes are also a must, especially if you plan on standing, jumping, and cheering for hours. Sneakers are usually my pick! Beyond the look, truly embracing the rally spirit involves a bit of pre-game prep. My friends and I often meet up beforehand for some quick face painting or to grab a snack. Staying hydrated is super important too, especially if it's an outdoor rally. Bringing a reusable water bottle is a lifesaver. Some of my favorite 'rally ideas' include making cool signs to hold up, bringing pom-poms (or making your own!), and learning all the cheers specific to your school. It just makes the experience so much more immersive and fun when you're actively participating. It's not just about watching; it's about being a part of the vibrant campus community. These rallies are such a big part of the college experience, bringing everyone together to celebrate our teams and school spirit. Make sure to capture some photos and videos, but also remember to put your phone away for a bit and just be present in the moment. It's these memories that truly last a lifetime!
