How I’ve been handling pregnancy FTM

... Read morePregnancy can be an incredibly transformative experience, especially for first-time moms (FTM). From my personal journey, I've found that balancing physical health and emotional wellbeing is key. For instance, I still enjoy coffee but limit it to under 200mg daily as advised by my doctor, and I choose mostly fruit over sweets like ice cream or chocolate to maintain a nutritious diet without feeling deprived. Confidence during pregnancy fluctuates, and I often find myself opting for oversized clothing some days to feel comfortable with my changing body. This approach helps me embrace my body's changes without pressure to always show off my baby bump. Mental health during pregnancy is just as important as physical health. When feelings of irritability, anxiety, or sadness arise, I channel energy into my hobbies like art, reading, and baking, which provide a positive outlet. Staying busy with passions helps me cope rather than letting negative feelings build up. Support from loved ones, particularly my boyfriend, has been vital. Pregnancy impacts both body and mind, and having someone to help with discomfort, emotional support, and daily care makes a significant difference. Contrary to what some may say, leaning on your partner during this time is a strength, not a weakness. Ultimately, first-time pregnancy is about learning self-care, patience, and finding joy amidst the challenges. Listening to your body, accepting help, and nurturing your interests create a more balanced and fulfilling experience. Every pregnancy is unique, and embracing your personal journey with kindness and adaptability truly helps you thrive.

I wish you a healthy pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. If you have difficulty with the baby crying a lot with seemingly no explanation, I suggest reading the books moms on call. They’re written by professionals. Also prioritize your wellbeing. Your baby needs you to take care of you so that you can take care of them. 🩵🩵🩵🩵
