Hello April
I can’t believe it is already April! The months are move at like 2.50 speed and I just can’t 🤦🏽♀️😂
Even though I am in disbelief about time, I will be taking the time each month to focus on areas in my life that need attention.
The past few years I have really neglected myself and just focused on kids. I have to remember that in order to take care of them well I have to fill my cup. I have to give something for myself so that I can handle the day to day circumstances.
Do you have something that you want to focus on this month? Let’s do it together!

It's incredible how quickly the months are flying by, isn't it? One moment it's January, and the next, we're already welcoming April. This rapid pace often leaves me feeling stretched thin, especially when juggling family responsibilities. But this year, I’m making a conscious effort to pause and intentionally cultivate a life that truly nourishes my soul. I've realized that to be the best version of myself for my loved ones, I absolutely must fill my cup first. It’s not selfish; it’s essential. This April, my focus areas are deeply personal and rooted in creating a more balanced, joyful, and faith-filled existence. First on my list is to Read and Pray more. In the hustle and bustle, my quiet time often gets pushed aside. But I know that spending time in God's Word and in prayer brings an indescribable peace and guidance that I desperately need. It's about grounding myself before the day even begins. I’m also committing to Do more things that I love. Whether it’s picking up a hobby I've neglected or simply enjoying a quiet cup of tea, these small acts of joy are vital. This also extends to making sure I Hang out with friends more often. Meaningful connections are so important for mental and emotional well-being; genuine laughter and shared experiences are truly soul-refreshing. Another big area for me is to Make better choices for my body. This isn't about drastic diets, but rather mindful eating, staying hydrated, and finding ways to move my body that feel good, not like a chore. It’s about honoring the temple God has given me. Alongside this, I want to dedicate More quality time with my boys. Not just being in the same room, but truly engaging, listening, and creating lasting memories together. They grow up so fast, and these moments are precious. Then there’s Declutter. This isn't just about tidying up physical spaces, though that’s definitely part of it! It’s also about decluttering my mind and schedule, letting go of things that no longer serve me or bring joy. A clear space often leads to a clear mind. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I’m striving to Focus on the good and give the rest to God. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by worries, but consciously choosing gratitude and trusting in His plan brings immense freedom. And of course, in all of this, I'm reminding myself to Take time for me. Whether it's a quiet bath, reading a book, or just sitting in silence, carving out those moments helps me reset. These aren't just resolutions; they are invitations to myself to live more fully and intentionally. I truly believe that by focusing on these areas, I can approach each day with more energy, patience, and love. What small, mindful steps are you taking this April to fill your own cup?
