Day 24- Trust in the Lord
Hi friends! Here is day 24 of the Trusting God Challenge.
If you have an empty journal/notebook grab that for the month to write out scriptures and prayers.
Each day there will be a task to complete that will help you in letting go of fear/control and trusting God.
I pray this challenge helps me and you to draw closer to the Lord.

Have you ever started your day by looking for 'have a good day images' or uplifting quotes, hoping to catch a spark of positivity? I know I have! There’s nothing wrong with seeking encouragement, but what if I told you there’s a way to cultivate that 'good day' feeling from deep within, regardless of what the day throws at you? That’s exactly what I've been discovering through my '31 Days Trusting God' journey. Day 24, in particular, offered a profound insight into finding true peace and setting a positive tone for everything that follows. The focus for Day 24 was all about confession and the incredible power of forgiveness. The scripture for the day, 1 John 1:9, really hit home: 'If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.' This isn't just about big, dramatic confessions; it’s also about those everyday moments where we fall short. The challenge was to 'search your heart' – to really take a moment to reflect on anything that might be creating a barrier between you and a complete sense of peace. I took the time to do just that, and it was surprisingly liberating. It wasn't about shame but about honest self-reflection. I asked myself, 'Is there anything you need to confess and get right with God?' It could be anything from harsh words spoken in frustration to a lapse in faith or a neglected promise. The beauty is, once you acknowledge these things, you're not left in a state of guilt. Instead, you're met with the promise of purification and forgiveness. Making it a habit to 'daily confess my sins and ask for forgiveness' has become a cornerstone of my morning routine, much more impactful than just seeing a pretty picture. It allows me to 'Lay it all out, give it to Jesus,' knowing that I don’t have to carry these burdens alone. The weight that lifts from my shoulders after this practice is palpable. You truly get to 'rest in the fact that you are forgiven.' This isn't just a spiritual concept; it has a real, tangible effect on my mood and outlook. When you start your day with a clear conscience, knowing you are pure and right with God, it fundamentally changes your perspective. That inner peace allows you to navigate challenges with grace and gratitude. It helps you genuinely have a good day, not just wish for one. So, while 'have a good day images' are lovely, I've found that actively engaging in this spiritual practice offers a far deeper, more sustaining source of joy and peace. It truly sets the foundation for a life lived with a lighter heart and a renewed spirit, making every day feel like a fresh start.
DAY 24 and we’re going strong! Thank you
