Day 26-Walking in Spiritual Disciplines

This January Challenge is one that will grow you in Christ, in his word, in his presence, and help you move your body!

Everyday I challenge you to get in at least a 30 minute walk or move your body in some way for 30 minutes. Each challenge can be done while you’re moving your body.

If you have an empty journal/notebook grab that for the month to write out scriptures and prayers. You can look back at this journal to see your progress for the month. I know that starting a new routine is hard, but encourage you to pray over yourself daily thanking God for helping you to be disciplined in those areas where you find keeping a routine to be hard.

I pray this challenge helps me and you to learn to seek God more and take everything in our lives to him.

As you complete your daily walks, ponder on 1 Peter 4:10, which reminds us to utilize God's gifts wisely. Reflecting on how to be a better steward in your daily life can enhance your spiritual journey. Jot down your thoughts in your journal during this challenge; it will help solidify your commitments. Implementing these reflections into your life can lead to meaningful change. Consistency may be challenging, but remember to seek God's guidance in every step. This approach not only helps in cultivating discipline but also in nurturing your relationship with Him. Embrace this challenge with an open heart and mind, and let it transform your lifestyle into one of gratitude and joy.
