Day 12- Stewardship of Finances
This month’s focus is being a good steward. When I was studying spiritual disciplines the one area that really stood out to me was being a good steward. It was understanding that my life and the things in it do not belong to me. It is all from the Lord and he has made me a manager of these things. It's my job to manage it properly for his glory. Whether it is money, time, friendships, or my children….. All belongs to the Lord and he has given us authority over it for a time.
Each day there will be a challenge for you to evaluate how you are being a good steward in a specific area of your life. You will have a scripture to reference, a reflection question, and an activity to complete. As always grab you a journal and for this month also a planner/calendar. The journal is for writing out scripture or prayers daily. The calendar will be to help you in evaluating how your time is spent daily. If you don’t have a calendar, you can just create your own in your journal.
Ephesians 5:15-17, “Be very careful, then, how you live-not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is”
I am so excited for this challenge this month! I pray that this challenge helps me and you to be a better steward of the blessings the Lord has given us.

Financial stewardship is a crucial aspect of living a balanced and fulfilling life. When we recognize that everything we own is ultimately God's, it shifts our perspective and stress around money management. It's important to cultivate gratitude, understanding that every moment and every possession is a blessing. In your reflection today, consider Psalm 24:1, which reminds us that 'The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.' This truth calls us to act with thankfulness. Make it a habit to deliberately thank God for the aspects of your life—be it your income, relationships, or personal growth. Create a list of things you are grateful for and revisit it whenever you feel discontent. The act of gratitude can reframe our understanding of 'enough' by encouraging a mindset of abundance rather than scarcity. Remember, God will always provide what we need, even when it seems insufficient. This month-long challenge encourages you to evaluate your financial decisions through prayer and reflection, thereby fostering a deeper connection with your resources and the divine purpose behind them.
I just love this ❤️. Keep it coming so inspirational
