Hello April! New Monthly Challenge on Prayer
Hi friends! I pray you all had a wonderful March. My March was full of ups and downs, but I thank God for it all. I am so ready for Spring and being able to get outside more!
During the past 2 months my prayer life hasn’t been where I know it needs to be. So for the month of April my focus is my Prayer life and getting some Spring cleaning done. Everyday I want focus on praying for a certain area of my life and cleaning a specific space of my home. I am definitely a person that feels like your surroundings are a representation of your mind, and for me a clear mind and home helps me in every way. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “ Pray without Ceasing”, and then Ephesians 6:18 says, “Pray in the Spirit at all times on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” Both of these scriptures tell us to prayer continually. Prayer is the key for this everyday life.
Each day there will be a challenge for you to clean a space in your home, and a space in your spiritual life. You will have a scripture to reference, a reflection, and an activity to complete. As always grab you a journal/notebook. The journal is for writing out scripture or prayers daily. I am so excited for this challenge this month! I pray that this challenge helps me and you to focus more on incorporating more prayer into your life daily.

As we welcome April, it's a perfect opportunity to rejuvenate both our spiritual journey and our living spaces. This monthly challenge focuses on integrating daily prayers with specific cleaning tasks, creating a harmonious flow between our environment and our inner peace. Each day will feature a new scripture to guide your reflections, and each activity is designed to help you remove distractions from your life, allowing for deeper connections with God. Consider starting your day by reflecting on Psalm 51:10, which emphasizes the importance of a clean heart. Use a journal to document your thoughts, prayers, and any insights gleaned from the scriptures. This journaling not only helps maintain focus during prayer but also acts as a record of your spiritual growth over the month. Engaging in this dual challenge of decluttering your physical space while nurturing your spiritual life can lead to profound transformation. Moreover, consistent prayer is essential as we learn in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, urging us to 'pray without ceasing.' Incorporating scripture and prayer into daily routines can help align our hearts and minds with God's purpose for our lives. As you embark on this journey throughout April, stay motivated by connecting with a community of like-minded individuals, sharing experiences and insights to collectively uplift one another in faith and practice.
