Day 5: April Prayer Challenge
Everyday I want focus on praying for a certain area of my life and cleaning a specific space of my home. I am definitely a person that feels like your surroundings are a representation of your mind, and for me a clear mind and home helps me in every way. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 says, “ Pray without Ceasing”, and then Ephesians 6:18 says, “Pray in the Spirit at all times on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” Both of these scriptures tell us to prayer continually. Prayer is the key for this everyday life.
Each day there will be a challenge for you to clean a space in your home, and a space in your spiritual life. You will have a scripture to reference, a reflection, and an activity to complete. As always grab you a journal/notebook. The journal is for writing out scripture or prayers daily. I am so excited for this challenge this month! I pray that this challenge helps me and you to focus more on incorporating more prayer into your life daily.

As you embark on Day 5 of this transformative prayer challenge, let Psalm 51:7 guide your thoughts on seeking God's cleansing and renewal. This scripture reminds us to ask God to purify our hearts and minds, allowing His Spirit to fill us with strength and clarity. In a busy world filled with distractions, setting aside dedicated time to clean not only your physical space but also your spiritual space is crucial. Consider engaging in activities that foster spiritual growth, like journaling your thoughts and prayers. Set realistic goals for cleaning challenging areas in your home, like corners that often go unnoticed. The act of sweeping and mopping your floors can become a physical representation of your desire for spiritual purification. As you clean, pray and reflect on what areas in your life need renewal. Let this be a holistic experience, integrating both your environment and your internal spiritual state. Challenge yourself to seek God's will more intentionally this week by prioritizing moments of prayer throughout your day. Remember, prayer is not just about asking; it’s a continual dialogue with God that should be embraced in every moment of our lives.
