Day 1: Psalm 139:13-14
I don’t know about you but I need this reminder daily, actually probably need it hourly.
I fought within myself for the majority of my life to see the good in my body because it didn’t look like everyone else around me.
Even today I fought negative thoughts because I stopped to get a fast food burger. That’s not the way God intend for us to live.
If you’re struggling, I pray this and the challenge I just posted will help you just as much as it is helping me.

Living a life where we truly appreciate our bodies as fearfully and wonderfully made is an ongoing journey, especially when faced with daily challenges and societal pressures. I’ve personally found that repeating Psalm 139:13-14 throughout my day helps center my thoughts and shift my mindset from self-criticism to gratitude and acceptance. The reminder that God intentionally crafted every part of me—nothing random or accidental—reframes how I view imperfections and struggles. There have been days when I struggled with choices that felt foolish or counterproductive, like stopping for fast food and feeling instant guilt. However, reflecting on this scripture allowed me to treat those moments with grace instead of judgment. Our bodies carry life’s purpose, strength, and stories; they are entrusted to us as stewards, not adversaries. Incorporating worship and praise into my response to how I perceive my body, like David’s example in scripture, has been transformational. Shifting from criticism to thankfulness opens a new door to self-love rooted in faith, not in societal standards or fleeting trends. If you’ve battled body image or self-worth, know that you’re not alone. This passage offers a powerful foundation for changing how you relate to yourself. I encourage you to save verses like Psalm 139:13-14 as daily reminders, perhaps on your phone or workspace, to strengthen your heart on hard days. Join challenges or faith communities that uplift you and encourage this mindset shift. Remember, you are wonderfully made with intention and care—your body is a reflection of a beautiful divine design, crafted to fulfill a unique purpose. Let this inspire kindness toward yourself every day.
