Tales. Because the world is always mean to people who are not perfect.✅🤦♀️📖🧁🍲
📖 Once upon a time, in a land covered with faint gray fog, there was a potter named "Elina." 🤦♀️
Elina was born with the belief that "beauty is the only ticket that will make a lover." She spent her whole life trying to re-mold herself every day. She scrubbed her skin until thin to make it as clear as a glass. She fasted to make her body translucent like a soul. And she always wore a beautiful, flawless ceramic mask because she was afraid that if anyone saw a small crack in her heart, the love she received would collapse.
Lessons from the Moon
One lonely night, Elina sat by the stream, looked at herself in the water and cried, because no matter how beautiful the mask was, she felt cold and empty inside. She looked up and asked the moon:
"Why am I so beautiful but never really feel like I exist?"
The half-concave cleft moon replied in a soft voice:
"Do you see me, Elina? Some nights I'm dented. Some nights I'm dark. My skin is full of craters and dust. I don't even have light in myself. I just reflect the light of the sun."
But that makes him look sad..."Elina whispered.
"Yes, it's sad," the moon admitted, "but it's the truth." "Beauty without blemish is beauty without breath," the moon continued. "He who loves you because of the mask will love only the shadow, but he who loves you because of the crack will love the self."
✌️🍓 power from falling apart. 🖤
Elina decided to take off that ceramic mask, and throw it in a stream, the sound of the mask hitting the rock shattering, she saw her own true face in the shadows - dark circles under her eyes from sleep deprivation, a smile that wasn't the best, and an eye full of longing.
She began to set out as an ordinary woman who was not perfect. She began to have a delicious meal and began to laugh until she saw the wrinkles in the corner of her mouth. The sadness remained...
❌ because the world is always mean to people who are not perfect. ✅
Loneliness is still there...Because not everyone understands the beauty of cracks.
But this time it has "power."
The power caused by her no longer having to "try" to be someone else. When she walks anywhere, people don't look at her because she's as beautiful as a statue, but look because she has a "warm light" radiating out, a light that says, "I'm in pain, I have a blemish, and that's what makes me gorgeous."
[Compendium of Tales]
Elina finally learned:
True beauty is not having a wrinkle-free face, but it is "the courage to be yourself in a world trying to tell us to be others."
