My First Women’s Retreat

This weekend has been nothing short of divine. I’m here in Virginia Beach for the Talitha Cumi Women’s Retreat — a name that means “Little girl, I say to you, arise” (Mark 5:41). 🙌🏽

My friend, her sister, and their mom run this beautiful nonprofit that ministers to women, and I usually attend their Bonnets & Bibles Saturday online sessions. But this was my first retreat, and wow… I didn’t know how much I needed it.

From the moment we arrived at this stunning beach house, it’s been nothing but healing, and joy. We’ve prayed together, laughed until we cried, danced, shared testimonies, played games, ate amazing food, and just let God move. 💕

There’s something so powerful about women coming together to pour into one another—body, mind, and spirit. This weekend was truly a vibe and a reminder that I am not doing life alone but I have God and the people he put in my life.
