... Read moreIf you're planning a trip to Bohol and want to experience a balance of privacy, comfort, and affordability, this private pool villa in Panglao is definitely worth considering. From my personal experience, staying in a place away from the busy Alona Beach area provides much-needed peace and the chance to truly relax. The private pool, although small, is great for cooling off under the morning sun, which also creates stunning photo opportunities without the need for filters.
What stood out most during my stay was how clean and well-maintained the room was, with no unpleasant odors or mosquitoes bothering us, which can often be a problem in tropical destinations. The small living space was surprisingly comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. Nighttime was especially peaceful, with gentle breezes and soothing insect sounds that helped me forget the daily stresses.
Additionally, the 24-hour front desk service significantly eased concerns about transportation. Booking a late-night tricycle (local 'tutu') to the airport was effortless, ensuring we made our early flight without any last-minute rush. Proximity to the airport (only 1.4 km away) is a major convenience, especially for travelers with early departures.
Nearby amenities like convenience stores and local food stalls made it easy to enjoy affordable and delicious breakfast options. This setup is perfect for solo travelers or friends wanting a weekend getaway without breaking the bank or sacrificing comfort.
Also, if you’re interested in adventure, Bohol offers exciting activities such as scuba diving and island hopping, which can be easily arranged from this location. This hidden gem in Panglao strikes the right balance for travelers looking for a budget stay with private touches and easy access to local attractions.
