Sometimes the hardest part of the journey isn’t starting—it’s continuing. The excitement fades, obstacles appear, and the road begins to feel longer than expected. In those moments, it’s easy to question whether you have the strength to keep going.
But Philippians 1:6 reminds us of something powerful: God is not finished with you.
The work He started in your life was never meant to depend on your strength alone. Your growth, your calling, your healing, and your purpose are all part of a process that God Himself is guiding.
When progress feels slow or unseen, it doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Often, God is doing His deepest work in the quiet seasons—shaping your character, strengthening your faith, and preparing you for what lies ahead.
Your job isn’t to rush the process. Your job is to stay faithful while God finishes the work He started.
What He begins, He completes.

Lord, thank You for the work You have begun in my life. When the journey feels long and difficult, remind me that You are still at work in me. Reflecting on Philippians 1:6 in my own journey, I've found that the most challenging moments often come not at the start, but when progress seems invisible or slow. It’s easy to feel discouraged when you don’t see immediate results or when obstacles make the path unclear. Trusting God’s timing requires surrendering our need to control outcomes and embracing the process, no matter how lengthy or difficult it feels. We can take comfort knowing that God’s work in us is purposeful and will be carried to completion "until the day of Christ Jesus." When doubts and fatigue arise, it helps to remind yourself that divine progress is not always visible but is steadily happening.
