College DIML
Here’s a typical day in my life in college. I always start my mornings off at the gym so I can study without any disruptions later on! I also had a quick shift after classes and studying was done💪 Meal prepping after a long day hits. #lemon8partner #lemon8college #collegedayinmylife #dayinmylife #college
Navigating college life can feel like a constant juggle, but finding a rhythm that works for you is key. For me, a typical college day is packed, but incredibly rewarding. It often kicks off with an early start to get my body moving, because I've found that prioritizing that 'morning cardio + lift' sets a positive tone for everything else. Heading to the gym before my brain even fully wakes up helps clear my head, boosts my energy, and ensures my study sessions later are focused and productive, without the guilt of skipping a workout. After a refreshing start, it's time to dive into academics – often my most demanding part of the day. My schedule frequently includes challenging courses, like my 'ochem lab' and 'lectures' which demand full attention. I've learned that staying organized is crucial; actively listening in lectures, taking detailed notes, and making sure I understand the concepts in the 'ochem lab' are non-negotiable. Later, during my dedicated 'studying + homework' block, I revisit those notes, work through practice problems, and prepare for upcoming assignments. It’s a constant learning curve, but breaking it down into manageable chunks makes it less daunting. Many college students, myself included, also balance academics with work. My 'evening work shift' is a common part of my day, and it's taught me invaluable lessons in time management and responsibility. It means carefully planning my study time around my work schedule and sometimes sacrificing leisure for productivity. Finding a job that offers flexibility or is related to your field can make this balance much easier. It's not always easy to stay motivated after a long day of classes and studying, but the experience and extra income are definitely worth it. Finally, winding down the day usually involves my favorite ritual: 'meal prep + dinner.' After a long day of classes, labs, studying, and work, having a nutritious, ready-to-eat meal waiting for me is a lifesaver. I usually dedicate a few hours on a weekend to prepare healthy options for the week, ensuring I have balanced meals that fuel my body and mind. This not only saves time during busy weekdays but also helps me maintain a healthier diet and save money. It’s a small habit that makes a huge difference in managing my overall well-being amidst the college hustle. Prioritizing these routines allows me to make the most of my college experience, both academically and personally.
