typical college workout!
Here’s my college workout routine. I usually run instead of using the stairmaster, but i’m injured currently😎 Also love hitting abs on the captains chair after every cardio sesh. Leg days and upper body days are great options for right after cardio as well. Always make sure to stretch/warm up before workout out. #lemon8college #lemon8partner #collegeworkout #gym #Fitness
A typical college workout often balances cardio and strength training to maximize fitness results and accommodate busy schedules. The stairmaster, set at level 10 for an hour as shown, is excellent for cardiovascular endurance and lower body toning by simulating stair climbing, which targets glutes, quads, and calves. Complementing cardio with core strengthening exercises like leg lifts and pull-ups on the captains chair helps build abdominal strength and upper body stability. Including hyperextensions in four sets supports lower back health, which is crucial for overall posture and injury prevention. Combining leg days and upper body days immediately after cardio ensures efficient use of time and balanced muscle development. It’s also important to properly warm up and stretch before any workout to increase flexibility and reduce the risk of injuries, especially when recovering from injuries like running-related strains. Incorporating a routine like this into a college lifestyle not only improves fitness but also enhances energy levels and stress management. Listening to your body during recovery periods and modifying exercises when injured contribute to long-term workout success. Engaging consistently with such targeted exercises can lead to noticeable strength and endurance improvements over time.
