travel home from college with me

Love going to college far away but the travel home takes 12 hours total💔 There’s no direct flights out of Santa Barbara so I have to take an airbus to LAX… fire beach view though🔥🔥 The airport dinner always hits the spot. First stop every time I leave california is my hometown bagel place obviously. #lemon8partner #lemon8college #college #collegetips #collegetravel

... Read moreTraveling home from college can be quite the adventure, especially when there are no direct flights and it takes nearly a full day to get back. My journey starts with a bus ride from UCSB to LAX, which, despite the long haul, offers a stunning beach view that makes the trip more enjoyable. Once at LAX, I find the airport dinner to be a comforting pause before the next leg of my flight. One of my favorite parts of traveling home is stopping by my hometown bagel place right after landing. It's become a comforting tradition that adds a taste of home even before I reach my front door. If you're facing a similar travel time, packing snacks or scouting airport eateries ahead can make the wait easier. Managing studies on the go is another challenge. I often study at my gate, using worksheets and notes to stay on top of my classes like CHEM 6AL. It’s important to balance productivity and rest when facing long travel days. For fellow college students traveling long distances, planning connections carefully—like my travel from LAX to Boston—and knowing your meal and study options makes all the difference. A routine that blends comfort, productivity, and a few treats keeps the journey manageable. Remember, traveling home is more than just getting from one place to another; it’s about savoring moments that remind you of home and preparing for the next chapter ahead.
