Hebrews 6:10 is such a sweet reminder that God sees it all—every act of love, every sacrifice, and every time we serve others in His name. Nothing we do for Him is forgotten. Keep going, keep loving, and keep serving. It’s all worth it! 💛 #GodSeesYou #FaithfulServant #Hebrews610 #ServingInLove

... Read moreI remember a time when I felt so discouraged, pouring my heart into serving others, yet wondering if anyone even noticed. It’s easy to feel unseen, isn't it? But then I came across Hebrews 6:10, and it was like a warm embrace for my soul. The verse, especially in the NIV translation, states so clearly: 'God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.' This isn't just a nice sentiment; it's a profound truth about God's character. When it says 'God is not unjust,' it's a powerful assurance. It means He is perfectly righteous, fair, and just in all His dealings. He doesn't overlook effort, especially when it's born out of love for Him and for His people. It’s comforting to know that our Heavenly Father isn't like humans who might forget our kindness or take our efforts for granted. Every single act of service, every moment of genuine love we extend, is cataloged in His perfect memory. Think about the 'work and the love you have shown him.' This isn't just about grand gestures or big-stage ministry. It encompasses the quiet acts of kindness, the selfless hours spent on a task no one else sees, the prayers whispered in the night for a friend, the patient listening ear, the simple act of showing up for someone. These are all expressions of our love for God, manifested through our love for others. It reminds me that even a small act of generosity or a word of encouragement can be a profound offering to God when done with the right heart. The phrase 'as you have helped his people and continue to help them' is also incredibly practical. It emphasizes that our faith isn't just internal; it's active. It's about ongoing, consistent engagement in the lives of others. This could mean volunteering at a local charity, being a supportive friend, taking care of family, or simply offering a smile and a kind word to a stranger. It's about living out our faith in tangible ways, demonstrating God's love to the world around us. And the beauty is, we are called to 'continue to help them,' suggesting a lifelong journey of service, not just a one-off event. This verse has truly transformed my perspective on what I do. Instead of seeking recognition from others, I now focus on doing everything as unto the Lord, knowing that He sees it all. It strengthens my resolve to keep going, even when I feel tired or unappreciated. Because ultimately, the greatest reward isn't earthly praise, but the knowledge that our faithful God acknowledges and cherishes every bit of our love and service. This understanding has brought such peace into my life. It frees me from the pressure of performance for human approval and anchors my motivation in God's unchanging character. Sometimes, when life gets busy or challenges arise, it's easy to lose sight of why we serve. This verse gently pulls us back, reminding us that even when our efforts seem small or insignificant to us, they are precious in His sight. It encourages perseverance, urging us to 'keep going, keep loving, and keep serving,' just as the original article beautifully states. It's all worth it because our God is a faithful rewarder, not forgetting even a cup of cold water given in His name. What a comforting and empowering truth to carry with us daily! So, if you're feeling weary or unnoticed in your efforts, hold onto Hebrews 6:10. Your labor of love is not in vain, and God will never forget it.
