My Reasons 🥹♥️🐾
Facing major life decisions at a young age is incredibly challenging, especially when you’re only 17 and people around you doubt your ability to handle the consequences. I’ve been through moments where the pressure felt overwhelming, and voices told me that having a child at my age would ruin everything. But I want to share that even in the toughest circumstances, there are reasons to hold on and fight for your path. One of the biggest realizations I had is that others’ opinions, no matter how loud, do not define your future. It’s important to listen to your own heart and values. My reasons for persevering are deeply personal, revolving around love, hope, and the desire to create a meaningful life despite the odds. When people say, “You are only 17... Having that kid will ruin your life,” it can feel like the world is closing in on you. But I’ve learned that life’s challenges can be a source of strength and growth. Support systems matter a lot. Whether it’s family, close friends, or mentors, having people who believe in you makes all the difference. For me, having a pet has also brought comfort and a sense of responsibility, helping me stay grounded. Small sources of joy and love can build a foundation for resilience. If you’re young and facing similar doubts or fears, know that your journey is valid, and your reasons to keep going are powerful. This period is tough, but it’s also a time for discovering inner strength and shaping your story. Don’t let others’ discouragement dim your light—embrace your reasons and keep moving forward.
