The Making of Ghazzawi Riddim 🇵🇸🎶
#gettoknowme I wrote and recorded the song “Ghazzawi Riddim” one day in my living room. Before this, I never recorded a complete song. I was inspired by the Palestinian people and what they are going through every day. My Palestinian grandfather used to make kites from scratch. I saw that many children in Gaza are doing the same today. Since Palestinians are prohibited from waving their flag, the watermelon has been used as a symbol of their identity. I titled my album “Watermelon Kites” to represent them and a symbol for humanity around the world. 🍉✌🏼#music #palestine #lemon8music
