Heart Breaker 💔
This is my son Parker 🥰. He’s the biggest showman I have ever met. He will go out of his way to capture both your attention and your heart 💙. This was him in Cabo San Lucas, the lovely lady who sat us was smiling at him. So in true Parker fashion he had to put on a show. It’s truly the cutest thing ever 😍. People always say he’s going to be a heart breaker when he’s older. Still not sure how I feel about that term 🤔
He turns two in May, and I’m not quite sure how I’m feeling about it. It’s exciting to watch him grow, learn and accomplish milestones. However the mama in me wants to keep him a baby a little longer. I’m constantly reminded by my husband that he will always be my baby 💙. #babyboy #toddler #toddlerlife #family #boymom #travel #traveling #travelwithme2024 #lemon8creator #cabo Viceroy Los Cabos

MEET MY SON Parker, and he truly encapsulates the joy of sharing my little one with the world! When people jokingly call him a "future heartbreaker," it always sparks a mix of emotions in me. On one hand, it's a compliment to his charming personality and the way he effortlessly captures everyone's attention, just like he did on our recent trip to Cabo San Lucas. He truly is a little showman, and watching him interact with people, flashing those adorable smiles, melts my heart every time. But what does "heartbreaker" really mean from a parent's perspective? For me, it's not about him intentionally causing sadness, but rather about his natural charisma and confidence. It makes me think about how to nurture that strong, engaging personality while also teaching him kindness, empathy, and respect as he grows. We want him to be confident, yes, but also a considerate individual. It's a journey, and every day brings new lessons as he approaches his second birthday. Speaking of journeys, our family travels have been so much richer with Parker by our side. Our recent stay at Viceroy Los Cabos was a fantastic experience, proving that luxury and family-friendly can go hand-in-hand. When planning a trip with a toddler like Parker, I've learned a few invaluable tips. First, prioritize accommodations that truly cater to families. Look for resorts with dedicated kids' pools, or at least one that's shallow enough for little ones to splash safely, even if it means sacrificing a heated pool for a bit! A responsive and friendly staff, like the amazing team we encountered, makes all the difference when you're juggling toddler needs. Another key is to embrace the unexpected. Toddlers thrive on routine, but travel often throws that out the window. Pack plenty of snacks, entertainment, and be prepared for nap schedules to shift. For a little showman like Parker, having opportunities to interact with new faces, whether it’s the restaurant staff or fellow travelers, is part of the fun. He gets to "perform," and we get to see his joy. Don't forget a lightweight travel stroller and a few familiar toys to make new environments feel a bit more like home. Watching Parker hit all his milestones, from learning new words to fearlessly exploring new places, is truly exciting. While a part of me wishes he could stay my "baby" forever, my husband's right – he'll always be my baby boy, just a growing, charming, and ever-evolving one. These family adventures, like our memorable time in Cabo with Parker, are creating a treasure trove of memories I’ll cherish forever. They're not just trips; they’re chapters in his story, and ours, shaping the wonderful, charismatic boy he’s becoming. And who knows, maybe he'll break hearts by simply being too kind and charming!
