Why your Toddler needs these

As a first time mother, I didn’t have a clue on what to use for bowls, cups, snack cups, plates… I was very concerned about using plastic Tupperware. Obviously glass wasn’t an option. So by a lot of trial and error I finally made my way to MUSHI. Here is a little abou the company and its mission statements.

Mushie products are thoughtfully designed to bring calm to parenthood. Founded in 2018 with a passion for beauty, safety and function, Mushie creates essential products for little ones.

•Thoughtfully designed: We prioritize your family’s well-being with nontoxic materials like food grade silicone and organic cotton, and we exclusively work with ethical suppliers to produce high-quality products.

• Products that last: things that last. You can use mushie products with your children and then pass it down to someone else. With durability as a leading feature, our products push back against the consumerism of single-use and disposable goods ensuring a sustainable future and minimizing our environmental impact.

... Read moreWhen you become a parent, especially a first-time one, finding the best products for your little one is a constant research project. Mealtime dinnerware was a big concern for me; I wanted to avoid plastic but glass was out of the question for a toddler. That's when I discovered Mushie, and honestly, their products have been a game-changer for our family. I started with their essential feeding items, and I’m so glad I did. Let's dive into some specifics, because knowing the details truly helps. First, their silicone snack cup (often around $13.99). If you have a toddler, you know snacks are life, and mess is inevitable. This cup is a lifesaver. The soft silicone opening allows easy access for little hands but keeps most crumbs contained when tipped. My son can carry it without treats spilling everywhere, meaning less vacuuming for me! It’s also incredibly durable; it’s been dropped countless times and still looks brand new. Next, the cups (usually $12.99 each). We own a couple, and they're fantastic. Perfectly sized for small hands, the silicone material makes them non-slip, reducing accidental spills. We transitioned smoothly from sippy cups to these. They're great for water, milk, or juice, and because they're made from nontoxic food-grade silicone, I never worry about what my little one is drinking from. For main meals, the dinner plate (around $14.99) has made a huge difference. Its simple yet effective design means it stays put much better than lightweight plastic alternatives due to its weight and silicone grip. The raised edges help contain food, making self-feeding less messy. Plus, their lovely, muted colors add a nice touch to mealtime. A major win with all Mushie products is their ease of cleaning. They are completely dishwasher-safe, a non-negotiable for busy parents. Just toss them in, and they come out sparkling clean every time. This durability and easy cleaning means they truly last, aligning with Mushie's mission to create products that reduce waste. Investing in items that will stand the test of time, and are even designed to be passed down, gives me peace of mind about our environmental impact. The safety aspect is paramount, and Mushie delivers with their nontoxic materials. As a mom, knowing what my child is eating or drinking from is free from harmful chemicals is incredibly reassuring. It's not just about aesthetics; it's about genuine peace of mind. So, are they worth the investment? Absolutely. While the initial price point might be slightly higher, the quality, durability, and peace of mind you get from these thoughtfully designed, nontoxic silicone essentials make them a worthwhile purchase. My son loves them, and so do I!
