Let me just say this… I didn’t pick up any of the new Starbucks releases this time around, and honestly it’s not because I didn’t want to. It’s because by the time I even get there, the resellers are already lined up like raging bulls at the gate. At this point, Starbucks really needs to come up with a better system maybe an online drawing or reservation for these high-demand releases. It’s supposed to be fun and exciting, not stressful and chaotic.
And don’t get me wrong, that BEARISTA cup? Adorable. I’d love to add it to my collection… but I’ll pass on paying triple or quadruple retail for it. Some of these folks have taken “collecting” and turned it into a full-blown hustle.
