3 Books to Read for Renewed Mindset 🫶🏾✨

Here are 3 books I read that helped to renew my thinking:

📖 The Garden Within by Dr. Anita Phillips

⭐️Overall rating: 9/10: This book opened my eyes to how the Lord really feels about my feelings. After years of thinking He didn’t care about my feelings and only wanted me for what I could produce, this book helped me to see that the Lord does care about our feelings and is not insensitive to what we care experiencing. 💚✨

📖 Balance by Touré Roberts

⭐️Overall rating: 8/10: Balance quite literally helped me find balance! The main takeaways from this read were practical ways to avoid becoming overwhelmed in every day life and to take the pressure off of ourselves to do things in a certain way. My absolute biggest takeaway was learning how to say “NO” more often. 🩶✨

📖 I Did a New Thing by Tabitha Brown

⭐️Overall rating: 10/10: This is a book I’ll read a lot! This read taught me to step outside of my box, even in the smallest ways, to enjoy more life everyday. Listening to what Tabitha did on a daily basis to bring newness into her life, inspired me to try new things more often and to do them with boldness and courage. As a woman navigating the complexities of modern life, I've often sought out insightful books to read that offer wisdom, comfort, and practical steps towards a more balanced and joyful existence. These aren't just 'reads'; they're companions for self-reflection and catalysts for profound life change. Let me tell you more about how these incredible books have impacted me, especially when it comes to areas like stopping overthinking, inviting new opportunities, and even subtly manifesting the life I desire. Dive Deeper into Your Inner World with 'The Garden Within' by Dr. Anita Phillips This spiritual book is a profound exploration of our emotions, challenging the notion that certain feelings are 'bad' or unspiritual. For years, I struggled with feeling like my emotions were a burden, something to be suppressed. Dr. Phillips beautifully illustrates how our feelings are vital, God-given signals, designed to guide us. This revelation alone was life-changing for me. It’s not just about acknowledging feelings, but understanding their purpose and allowing them to lead us to healing and deeper connection. If you're someone who tends to overthink your emotional responses or struggles with self-compassion, this book offers immense clarity. It helps you cultivate an inner environment where growth, peace, and even positive manifestations can truly flourish. Listening to it on Audible made my commute feel like a deeply personal spiritual retreat. Embrace Serenity and Boundaries with 'Balance' by Touré Roberts In a world constantly demanding our attention, finding balance seems like an elusive dream. Touré Roberts’ book is a masterclass in practical application, offering strategies to avoid becoming overwhelmed and to truly take the pressure off. My biggest takeaway, which I now live by, was learning how to confidently say 'NO.' This simple yet powerful act has liberated so much of my mental energy, helping me stop overthinking commitments and external expectations. When you achieve true balance, you create space for what truly matters, allowing you to focus your energy on personal growth and the intentional creation of your desired reality. It’s about being present and purposeful, rather than constantly reacting. This book is a must-read self-help tool for anyone feeling stretched thin. Step into Your Boldest Self with 'I Did a New Thing' by Tabitha Brown If you've ever felt stuck in a rut or longed to bring more joy and freshness into your everyday, Tabitha Brown’s book is an absolute gem. It’s such a powerful reminder that life-changing experiences often begin with small, courageous steps outside our comfort zones. Tabitha's personal stories are so inspiring, making you realize that trying a new recipe, taking a different route, or simply engaging in a new hobby can unlock incredible possibilities. For me, this book was a huge motivator to stop overthinking potential failures and just do something different. This proactive approach is fundamentally tied to manifestation – by taking action and embracing newness, you signal to the universe that you are ready for new experiences and blessings. It's truly a book for personality development, encouraging you to live boldly and authentically, making it one of the most life-changing books I've ever encountered. These three books, each unique, collectively offer a powerful roadmap for anyone seeking deep personal growth, a renewed mindset, and the courage to live a more intentional life. Whether you're looking for spiritual enlightenment, practical balance, or the spark to try new things, these recommendations are truly insightful reads that can change your life.
