They even have Santa's House and Rudolph and friends, which is super cute for families or just to bring out your inner child. It’s definitely a highlight for experiencing CHRISTMAS IN TAMPA. Another must-visit is the Winter Village at Curtis Hixon Park. This is a fantastic public space that really embraces the holiday spirit. You can go ice skating right by the waterfront, which is such a unique experience in sunny Florida! They also have charming pop-up shops, a cafe for hot cocoa, and plenty of festive decorations. It's perfect for a casual outing or a cozy date night. Don't forget to take a stroll along the Tampa Riverwalk. During the holidays, it's adorned with beautiful lights and decorations, making for a lovely evening walk. You might even catch one of the festive boat parades where vessels are decked out in incredible light displays, sailing down the Hillsborough River. It’s such a fun spectacle and truly showcases the creative spirit of Tampa residents! For those who love a good light display, beyond the major attractions, many neighborhoods really get into the spirit. Driving through areas like Hyde Park offers a glimpse into some spectacular home decorations. It's a free and easy way to get into the holiday mood. You can also find various local holiday markets popping up around the city, perfect for finding unique gifts and supporting local artisans. I always try to grab a few handcrafted items there. And of course, for a special holiday date night, many of Tampa's amazing restaurants offer seasonal menus and festive ambiance. Imagine enjoying a delicious meal with your loved one, surrounded by holiday decorations. It’s the perfect way to cap off a day of exploring all the wonderful things to do in Tampa for Christmas.
