I have never had to pay for a date in my entire life. I’ve been with my husband since we were very young, and even when we were just kids, he has always paid for the both of us. It’s not that I couldn’t pay it’s just that he always insisted, and I honestly don’t think women should have to. For me, it’s a way a man can show care, effort, and appreciation.
I’ve also grown up watching my dad, who loves my mom very much, pay for her all the time. From dinners out to small coffee runs, I’ve never seen my mom reach for the bill when my dad is around. And because I’ve seen how much my dad loves my mom and how much my husband loves me, I believe that if a man truly loves you, he will want to pay for you.
To me, it’s not about money it’s about the gesture. Paying for a date is a way of saying, “I value you, I want to take care of you, and I’m willing to put in the effort.” I know some people see it differently, but in my life, I’ve never had to ask it’s just always been that way.

If ever he needs money for anything.. I’ll give every cent that I have in my bank account!! We go on like 2 dates a month max, nothing crazy.
