Does dairy mess you up too?

I’ve noticed that my daily coffee was messing me up so badly, and for the longest time I couldn’t figure out why. I thought maybe it was just the caffeine or how strong I was making it, but then one day I randomly tried oat milk instead of whole milk, and it clicked it wasn’t the coffee at all, it was the lactose.. Lactose is a natural sugar found in dairy products. Switching to lactose free drinks made me realize just how much dairy was affecting me.

Since switching to lactose free, my life has honestly changed for the better. The acidity, caffeine, milk, and sugar was really messing me up. I can finally enjoy my morning coffee without stomach aches or bloating ruining a part of my day.

Being able to drink anything without any issues has given me a sense of balance that I didn’t realize I was missing. It’s such a simple fix, but it has made me feel so much lighter. I can’t believe it took me this long to figure it out, but now that I have, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to regular dairy again.
