True crime podcasts put me to sleep every night
What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever done to beat insomnia? For me, I started listening to podcasts at night specifically true crime podcasts!
One night, I decided to play a true crime podcast while lying in bed, and to my surprise, it actually helped me fall asleep. As ainteresting as they are, instead of keeping me up hooked on the story, I always end up dozing off. I think it has more to do with the calm and steady voice of the host than the stories themselves it’s like a weird lullaby for me.
Has anyone else tried listening to a podcast before bed? It’s worked wonders for me, and now I feel like I can’t sleep without one playing in the background.
Also, if anyone knows any good true crime podcasts, I’d love some recommendations.
