I watched almost all of these movies with my husband and my sister last Halloween season. It was very suspenseful and we loved it. I don’t like watching the graphic scenes as much though. I made the terrible mistake of watching it all alone, at night, in the dark when my now husband then bf brought it home (at my request) from blockbuster. The cinematography of the original was too grainy and monotone and made it feel even more gritty, gory and eerie than it probably was (I recently discovered I hate film of almost all types in sepia tones or neons). Having recently watched the Ed Gein series I’m debating a rewatch……..but probably not 😅
