Do you like true crime podcasts?

Lately I’ve been going on walks while listening to true crime podcasts. It’s a game changer. I’ll be listening to a 1hr long podcast and that will be the duration of my walk. They’re very interesting (in my opinion) I love crime junkie!! I get hooked so quick. #AskLemon8 #lemon8contest

... Read moreListening to true crime podcasts while on walks is a unique way to combine physical activity with entertainment, making exercise feel less like a chore and more like an adventure. This practice not only keeps you engaged but also fuels curiosity and critical thinking as you follow complex cases and stories. Popular podcasts like Crime Junkie have garnered a huge following due to their compelling storytelling and well-researched content, often covering unsolved mysteries, forensic details, and the psychology behind crimes. Many listeners find that syncing the length of a podcast episode with the duration of their walks creates a motivational routine. You stay motivated to complete your walk to finish the episode, and the engrossing content distracts from any physical discomfort of walking. It’s also a great way to learn about criminal justice, forensic science, and investigative techniques through an informal medium. The phrase "walks + crime podcasts PHE" highlights the popular habit of combining physical health exercise (PHE) with immersive podcast listening. This combination is a growing trend, especially for those working from home or seeking solo activities that blend leisure and fitness. If you're new to true crime podcasts, starting with Crime Junkie is highly recommended due to its accessible language and diverse range of cases. Expand your playlist with other acclaimed podcasts like "My Favorite Murder" or "Serial" for different storytelling styles and case selections. Remember to balance your content intake, as true crime can sometimes be intense or distressing. Setting specific times for listening, such as your daily walks, helps maintain a healthy relationship with the genre. In summary, integrating true crime podcasts into your walking routine not only enriches your knowledge and entertainment but also promotes consistent movement, contributing positively to both mental and physical well-being.

Yeah they are ok but i am not a fan of them. And also i cant walk without the music so crime is a little too dry.

Some are ok. I sometimes get icked out of them though. Its all in the details. If they are laughing at the victims or shaming them I am out. I also dislike when they have a "favorite" murder/murderer
