Why did nobody warn me that this was so messy? 😭

I kept seeing people mix Kool Aid packets withpineapple, and after watching a lot of videos, I finally gave in. šŸ˜‚

I cut up some pineapple, pineapple juice, added a Kool Aid packet, and mixed in about half a cup of sugar because I wanted it extra sweet. The combination of the tangy pineapple with the sweet fruity powder was actually SO good. It tasted like candy but with a juicy, fresh crunch.

The only thing nobody warned me about was how MESSY this was going to be 😭 The Kool Aid powder somehow got everywhere. I stained my white socks, my white cabinets, my kitchen hand towels… literally my whole kitchen looked like a crime scene.

But even after all the chaos, I can’t even lie… it was worth trying at least once. It was sweet, juicy, sour, messy, and honestly kind of addictive. Now I see why everyone keeps making it online šŸ˜‚šŸ

Would I make it again? Yes.

... Read moreTrying the viral Kool-Aid pineapple trend was quite the adventure! From my experience, while the combination of tart pineapple and the sweet, colorful Kool-Aid powder creates an irresistible candy-like flavor, the mess it creates is no joke. The powder easily scatters everywhere, staining clothes and surfaces quickly. To minimize this, I recommend mixing the Kool-Aid powder with the pineapple juice first to create a concentrated syrup before adding the pineapple chunks, which helps reduce airborne powder. Using a container with a lid and shaking it gently instead of stirring vigorously also reduces spills. Additionally, wear an apron and avoid white clothing if you want to keep your kitchen stress-free! Despite the cleanup, the end result tasted amazing: a perfect balance of sweet, juicy, and tangy. Plus, it’s a fun and inexpensive treat to make at home, with just three key ingredients — pineapple, sugar, and a Kool-Aid packet. If you want a lower-calorie option, consider using less sugar or sugar substitutes, as the original recipe can be quite sweet, especially with an added half cup of sugar like I did. Nutritionally, pineapple provides vitamin C and antioxidants, making this an exciting, flavorful snack that also offers some health benefits. Overall, this messy yet delightful Kool-Aid pineapple is worth trying at least once. Just remember to prepare for the potential cleanup and experiment with the sweetness level to suit your taste!

I thought most people just used jarred pineapple like the Members Mark.. at least the ones I saw… but I’m glad you like it! Still thinking about trying it but I love plain pineapples and especially the ones from Sam’s or Aldi in coconut water!
