Fall Bucket List 🎃
1. Go to a pumpkin patch: My partner proposed to me in a pumpkin patch 🥹 but also it’s become a tradition for my daughter and I. We go to the pumpkin patch and she picks her own pumpkin to paint! Her very first field trip is to a local pumpkin patch, so I know we’ll get to check this one off!
2. Make homemade chili: chili is delicious, pretty easy to cook, and it warms you up from the inside out. The perfect fall meal 😍
3. Donate summer clothes and clothes that don’t fit anymore: due to my diagnosis back in February, we decided as a family to prioritize our health. For the grownups in the house, this means we’ve lost some weight! That also means that we have a bunch of clothes that we can’t use anymore! Decluttering also helps me stay on top of chores.
4. Learn recipes that use pumpkin: my daughter asked me if we could buy a pumpkin to eat and I realized I have NO idea how to make anything with pumpkin! Recipe recommendations are always welcome 😂
5. Learn to make homemade bread: I have wanted to do this for a while and baking bread seems really daunting to me for whatever reason. It’ll be a fun activity to do with my daughter. She LOVES to bake!
6. Deep clean EVERYTHING: with the holiday season rapidly approaching, I want a clean beginning before the overwhelm starts!
7. Make a vision board: I have to be able to see something to do it. I will forget 😂 so having a vision board that can remind me what I’m working towards would be super helpful!
8. Start journaling regularly: writing has always been a big part of my coping toolbox (I even planned to write a book!) and it helps me gather my thoughts. I always feel better when I write, but consistently don’t take time to do it 🤷🏽♀️ I’ve made it a goal to write AT LEAST 3 times a week.
What are you looking forward to this fall?
