✨ REM BEAUTY BLUSH/BRONZER ✨

I am such a big fan of the R.E.M. Beauty formulas!

When I saw she was finally launching blushes and bronzers I was ECSTATIC!!!!

I got two shades for both the blush and the bronzer because I couldn't decide.

The blushes are in a brand new compact from REM. Theyre in a circular compact. There is no mirror included like they are with the highlighters and the bronzers.

I absolutely love the feeling of how smooth they are. The pigment pops and they blend nicely on the skin.

Unfortunately I think there is a dye used in the formula that I am allergic to because after I took off my makeup, my skin was hot and inflamed in the areas that the blushes sat.

I didnt use anything out of the ordinary besides the Blushes and bronzers.

So if you are interested in purchasing, I would patch test the blushes first before wearing them. As you can see on my arm in the bronzer swatch photo, my arm is starting to break out in hives lol.

Someone on tiktok said the same thing happened to them after trying the blushes so I'm not fully alone in this lol

The bronzers however were beautiful as well. Theyre in the same packaging as the highlighters which we know i LOVE

I was terrified Send 2 Voicemail would be waaaay too light but it actually was so perfect. It went on smooth and looked so natural. I am obsessed.

I do not think they caused any allergies to my skin.

Are you planning on picking these up?

... Read moreHey beauty lovers! You know how excited I was when R.E.M. Beauty finally dropped their Hypernova blushes and bronzers. I mean, who doesn't love a new launch, especially from a brand we've grown to adore? I snagged a couple of shades from each category – Rose on Mars and Peach Planet for blushes, and Send 2 Voicemail and Out Of Office for bronzers. My initial thought was just pure joy, but as you read in my main review, things took a bit of a turn, especially with the blushes! Let’s talk more about these R.E.M. Beauty blushes first. The shades I picked, Rose on Mars and Peach Planet, are absolutely stunning in the pan. Rose on Mars is this gorgeous mauvey-rose, while Peach Planet is a vibrant, warm peachy orange. For anyone looking for rem beauty blush shades, these are definitely eye-catching. The powder itself felt incredibly smooth to the touch, and I was so impressed with how pigmented they were. A little really goes a long way, and they blended out beautifully on my arm during swatching. I was picturing that perfect flushed look, you know? However, after wearing the blush for a day, my skin started to feel hot and I noticed some visible redness and inflammation on the skin right where the blush had sat. It was such a bummer because I truly loved the color and how easy it was to apply. It felt like something in the formula, perhaps a specific dye, just didn't agree with my skin. I even saw others on TikTok mentioning a similar reaction, so it wasn't just me! This is why I can't stress enough: if you're eyeing the rem beauty blush, seriously, please patch test it first. Your skin will thank you! Also, a quick note on packaging: while they're sleek circular compacts, they don't come with a mirror like some other R.E.M. Beauty products, which is a small detail but worth mentioning for on-the-go touch-ups. Now, let's switch gears to the R.E.M. Beauty bronzers, because these were a completely different experience for me – and in a good way! I picked up Send 2 Voicemail and Out Of Office. Send 2 Voicemail is a perfect light-to-medium warm brown, and I was genuinely surprised at how well it worked on my skin tone; I thought it might be too light, but it gave a beautiful, natural warmth. Out Of Office is a bit deeper, a rich medium brown that’s fantastic for adding more definition. Both of these Hypernova bronzers feel incredibly smooth, almost creamy to the touch, and they blend like a dream. If you're searching for rem beauty bronzer swatches, you'll see they lay down evenly and build up without looking patchy or muddy. They genuinely give you that sun-kissed glow without being orange. The packaging for the bronzers is the same sleek square compacts as their highlighters, which I'm a big fan of – these do include a mirror, making them super convenient! And the best part? No redness and inflammation or allergic reaction whatsoever with the bronzers. They've quickly become a staple in my routine. For those curious about rem beauty cream blush or wondering if these powders can give a similar effect, I’d say the Hypernova blushes, despite being powders, have such a finely milled and smooth texture that they almost melt into the skin, avoiding a powdery look. If you don't have sensitivity issues, they can definitely achieve a natural, skin-like flush. As for yellow blush, I didn't see any shades that leaned distinctly yellow in this launch, but Peach Planet is a fantastic warm peach that might appeal to those looking for vibrant, non-traditional blush tones. So, would I recommend them? It's a mixed bag! The rem beauty bronzer shades are an absolute hit for me – beautiful, blendable, and no irritation. I’m especially loving Send 2 Voicemail for a natural look. However, the rem beauty blush, despite its gorgeous Rose on Mars and Peach Planet shades and lovely texture, is a definite caution due to my allergic reaction. Always, always, always be mindful of your skin's sensitivities, especially with new makeup. I hope my detailed review helps you make an informed decision when considering R.E.M. Beauty's latest drop!
