He called me by name
🪨 The stone was rolled away —
not just from the tomb, but from the
heavy places in my own heart.
I think back to the girl I used to be...
the one who tried to fix herself before
approaching God.
She hid.
She believed the lies whispered by shame,
fear, and not-enoughness.
She didn't know yet that 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 had already
made the first move.
But He did.
He left the 99 for me.
He knew my name even when I didn't believe
I was worth calling.
He saw me through the mirror, beyond the
tears, past every broken choice and deep
regret.
And now?
I know this:
𝐻𝑒 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒𝑠 𝑚𝑒.
Not because of who l've become, but
because of who He is.
He didn't wait for me to get it together.
He met me right in the middle of my mess.
He's not afraid of graves.
He speaks life to them.
When I celebrate a risen Savior, I can’t help
but be reminded of how He pulled me from the miry clay—broken, lost, and sinking in shame.
He reached down into the mess I couldn’t
clean up on my own and set my feet upon
solid ground.
His resurrection isn’t just a story from long ago.
— 𝐼𝑡'𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑛 𝐼'𝑚 𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑙𝑙 ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒.
Still standing.
I celebrate the God who raised me from my
own grave.
The one who walked with me through dark seasons, through loss, through restoration,
through healing.
The one who continues to call me "daughter"
and draw me close.
Still lifting my hands toward Heaven,
whispering, “𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑘 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝐽𝑒𝑠𝑢𝑠, 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑑𝑖𝑑𝑛'𝑡
𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑦 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑣𝑒 ✞”
. . 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑛𝑒𝑖𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟 𝑑𝑖𝑑 𝐼.
