Life’s Storms Hit Hard

When life's storms hit hard, I've learned this:

𝔾𝕠𝕕 𝕕𝕠𝕖𝕤𝕟'𝕥 𝕨𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕖 𝕒 𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕝𝕖 𝕨𝕒𝕧𝕖 🐋

Looking back, I see how some of my greatest storms didn't just test me —they trained me.

There were times I felt swallowed by grief, disappointment, fear, or even shame —much

like Jonah in the belly of that great fish.

But even in those dark, disorienting places,

God never left me. Instead, He used them as sacred classrooms, teaching me that surrender

is not weakness —𝕚𝕥'𝕤 𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕡.

I think about the pain of old wounds that

lingered far too long, the ache of strained

family ties, the seasons of rejection or

invisibility, the lonely path of forgiveness

when no one else understood.

And yet, here I am.

Not just surviving —but walking more closely

with the One who calmed my chaos.

These storms shaped a deeper trust because

they showed me who God is when everything

else falls away.

And obedience?

It's no longer about performance or pleasing

others —𝕚𝕥'𝕤 𝕒𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖.

A response to the God who didn't give up

on me when I ran, doubted, or wrestled with

my worth.

The storms may have bent me —but they also

built me.

And I wouldn't trade the intimacy I've found

with Jesus for the safety of calm seas.
