Choose Joy
The sun rose slowly over the mountains this morning, spilling light across the hillside like a promise.
Al and I sat quietly with our coffee, letting the warmth settle into our bones and the stillness speak.
John 10:1–10 met me right there — Jesus, the Good Shepherd and the Gate, offering life in abundance.
And my heart pondered:
𝐼𝑠 𝑖𝑡 𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑏𝑙𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑐ℎ𝑜𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑗𝑜𝑦 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑚𝑖𝑑𝑠𝑡
𝑜𝑓 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒'𝑠 𝑐ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑔𝑒𝑠?
Maybe it begins right here—
𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘦𝘵.
𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨.
𝘐𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘺 ~ returning to the One who
welcomes us in, not because life is easy,
but because He is enough.

True abundance isn’t found in everything
going right.
It’s found in entering through Jesus, even
when everything feels uncertain.
So today, choose joy — not because life is
simple, but because His love is sure.
