Good Morning
𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮’𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙛𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 ☕️
It’s a beautifully rainy morning here in the mountains—warm, soft, and hushed. Macy and Molly are curled up nearby, and Al’s making breakfast while the scent of coffee swirls around us like a hug from Heaven.
Yes… there’s always coffee. 🤍
I’ve been reading 1 Corinthians 12:12–20 this morning, reflecting on how much God truly cares about connection. About community. About belonging.
We weren’t created to walk alone.
And yet, in a world of increasing disconnection, many of us know the ache of trying to find our place. Of wondering who’s truly safe, who shares our heart, and who’s walking the same path of faith.
But His Word reminds us:
“𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺,
𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘴 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦."
— 1 Corinthians 12:18
We are each intentionally placed.
We belong in His body.
And that means there’s a place for you and me—a purpose, a role, a reason.
Whether it’s around a bonfire on a Sunday night, in the embrace of a church family like ours at Shiloh Fellowship, or through a simple act of kindness to someone who’s rarely seen—community matters.
There’s strength when two or more gather in His name. There’s healing. There’s joy. There’s Jesus.
So today I’m asking myself:
🌿 What step toward Christian
community can I take?
🌿 How can I reflect the kind of
belonging I long for?
🌿 What difference does community
really make?
The answer?
𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜.
Because we flourish when we’re
rooted in His family.
