This morning started with coffee, overcast skies, and a heaviness I couldn’t quite shake.
Sometimes the ache of it all feels louder than the birdsong. The more I learn about what’s been hidden from us—how our bodies, food, skies, and trust have been affected—the more it weighs on me. I do what I can, and yet… the battle feels uphill.
But then I opened to the first Passover.
A lamb.
A rescue.
Blood on doorposts.
Judgment passing over.
Not because the people were perfect, but
because they were covered.
And suddenly, I remembered:
Jesus is still that Lamb.
His blood still covers.
Hope was never found in a system, a label,
or even perfect health.
Hope is found in the One who was
always the plan.
Some mornings feel like fog.
But even there—He is present.
And even this groggy heart… is still covered by grace.
🌥️ Even on heavy mornings…
light finds a way through.
A lamb, chosen.
Blood on the doorframe.
Not because the people had it all together, but because God made a way.
And that same covering? Still holds.
Through fear, grief, even betrayal.
Through grogginess and frustration.
Through broken systems and polluted air.
Jesus still saves.
And hope, though sometimes flickering,
is never gone.
