Behind the Waterfall
🪶Just watched 𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗴𝗺𝗲𝗻 again
— one of my all-time favorite old
Tom Berenger films.
And I cried.
Again.
At the end.
Like I always do.
Lately, I can’t seem to finish a movie without tears.
But maybe that’s not a bad thing.
Maybe it just means I’m paying attention now —
to the ache of beauty, the weight of love, and the stories that echo something true in me.
Because when a film touches on things like redemption, legacy, or love that lingers long after goodbye… something in me knows.
Maybe that’s what tears are:
Not weakness.
But reverence.
For all the stories we carry.
For all the things we’ve lived through.
For all the things we still believe in.
