Courage.
𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗨𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲
Romans 8:35–39
I used to think courage was for other people — strong people.
I wasn’t one of them.
If you questioned me, I’d shrink back. If I sensed criticism coming, I’d disappear into silence… or worse, deny things I actually did, just to avoid what felt inevitable: harsh judgment.
That fear?
It started young.
I remember it as early as four years old.
When criticism came — and it always did — I learned to hide.
But somewhere between that little girl and the woman I am today…
𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.
God met me with love I couldn’t earn and mercy I didn’t expect.
And here’s what I’ve learned:
Conviction isn’t about being loud.
It’s about being anchored.
Bravery isn’t born from self-confidence — it’s born from encounter.
Romans 8 says it like this:

I don’t follow Jesus because it’s easy.
I follow Him because He made a way for me when there was no way.
Because He called me out — not just beyond the shore, but beyond my shame.
