The tables were empty,
but the gratitude lingered.
Today marks the 250th birthday of the United States Marine Corps, and tomorrow we’ll pause again to honor Veterans Day — two powerful reminders of courage, sacrifice, and freedom.
My latest reflection honors them all — the Marines who’ve carried our flag through history and every man and woman who has ever served this nation.
