Precious Cargo: Plant Toddler Edition 🌺😂
Our plant toddlers are officially buckled in for the hour-long ride home from Capitol Market in Charleston, West Virginia 🌿🚗🌺😂
This is exactly how plant people travel, right?
After lunch inside the market and wandering the outdoor rows full of spring beauty, Al and I somehow ended up bringing home two full-fledged plant toddlers.
At this size, they’re definitely not babies anymore.
These are big personalities, lots of drama, and requiring their own seat for the ride home. 😄
The funniest part is how they became precious cargo immediately.
Capitol Market is always such a fun little day trip from the mountain — about an hour away, with the indoor market for lunch and the outdoor section full of flowers, vegetables, and every kind of temptation.
Normally we come home with little starter plants.
Not this time. 😂
With prices this good, and planters this gorgeous, we decided to go big.
Now the real fun begins… choosing their forever spots and watching them settle in.
And somehow, it feels like more than flowers.
There’s something quietly refreshing about days like this — the kind where beauty, good conversation, and the sense of finally finding more answers all seem to meet in the same place.
Maybe that’s why this feels less like shopping and more like bringing home a little celebration of today. 💜✨
