POV: You finally hold your first book in your hands… and the printed pages still have something to teach you 📖✨
Yesterday I sat on my porch and read the opening chapters of my own book out loud.
I found a few tiny places where the process left its fingerprints—little human moments from teaching myself Google Docs, working from a Chromebook, experimenting with dictation, and learning self-publishing as I went.
And honestly? It made me love the journey even more.
There’s something so humbling about realizing the finished product is still part of the lesson.
I wrote the full behind-the-scenes story in today’s new Substack, and it’s one of my most honest pieces yet for writers, dreamers, and anyone building something beautiful while learning in real time. 🌲💛✨
