—— Steps ———

1. Using a Stand Mixer or Hand Mixer in a bowl add in your Butter , Sugar and Cream until FLUFFY.

2. Nice Fluffy add in your Egg & Vanilla Extract!

3. Add in your Flour, Baking Soda, Cream of Tartar & a Pinch of salt (if desired) and mix on Low until all ingredients are combined well.

4. Mix together the Cinnamon Sugar!

5. Make 16 balls

6. Roll balls in Cinnamon Sugar Mixture and place them

On your Baking Sheet.

7. Bake at 350 F for about 8-10 minutes

TIP: If your dough does not come come out “doughy”

Enough, you can add in 1/2 c more flour & 1/2 Sugar. Please make sure that if you do need to do this step to not put everything at once and go slowly. You may not need it all.

... Read moreSnickerdoodle cookies are a beloved treat, known for their distinctive cinnamon-sugar coating and soft, chewy texture. These cookies not only provide a nostalgic flavor but are also versatile. You can experiment with different mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts for a personalized twist. To enhance your baking experience, it’s important to let your butter soften to room temperature before mixing. This ensures a creamy consistency that contributes to the light, fluffy texture of the cookies. Make sure to measure your ingredients accurately for the best results. For added flavor, consider chilling your dough for about 30 minutes before baking. This step can help intensify the flavors and control the spread of the cookies. Keeping an eye on your cookies as they bake is crucial; they’re done when they are slightly golden around the edges but still soft in the center. Enjoy these treats with a glass of milk or serve them at gatherings for an unforgettable dessert option.

These look delicious! Every year my kids and I bake an assortment of cookies and put them in boxes and give them to family. We are adding this to our list this year!
