毎年楽しみにしている福岡・大濠公園エリアのカフェ「MUME」の冬限定スイーツ「いちご最中」ですが、実際に訪れて食べてみるとその魅力に改めて驚かされました。最中は花の形がとても可愛らしく、見た目も味も楽しめるので写真映えもバッチリです。和菓子の餡子の甘さとバターの塩味、そして新鮮ないちごの酸味が絶妙なバランスで、何個でも食べたくなるほどの美味しさです。 特におすすめしたいのは、2個セットでの注文。一つはそのまま、もう一つにはたっぷりの練乳をかけてもらうことで甘さが増し、さらに贅沢な味わいが楽しめます。抹茶ラテとのセットは和スイーツとの相性が良く、ほっと一息つける最高の組み合わせです。 カフェは予約必須で席数も限られているため、訪問前に予約をしておくのが確実です。営業時間は11時から16時まで、火曜、水曜、木曜の営業で、駐車場はありませんが大濠公園駅から徒歩3分とアクセスも良好。500円から楽しめるので、冬の福岡でのプチ贅沢にぴったりです。 私自身、寒い季節に訪れてこのイートイン限定スイーツを味わうことで、心も体も温まりました。福岡にお住まいの方や観光の方にはぜひ訪れてほしいスポットです。また、毎年変わらずこの季節に登場するためリピーターも多い人気メニューです。冬の福岡カフェ巡りの新定番としておすすめします。
