From June to July, low-budget but interesting movies, masterpieces in Japanese horror, and ladders at movie theaters every weekend. Which movie is the best? I can't decide. Every movie has its own characteristics and cannot be compared. There are movies that are easy to understand and have a lot of intense depictions, and there are movies that work gently in silence. Well, movies are really good. If this goes on every month, I might be happy but I don't have my wallet. Of course, movies are interesting, but as an adult, it's definitely something you can enjoy? Genre? Expression? What should I say, the range has expanded. I also feel something like that. Since the number of movies purchased in advance has increased since August, the ladders in the movie theater may not stop this year.

映画鑑賞が好きな私にとって、今年の6月から7月はまさに“豊作”の時期でした。特にJapanese horror映画のクオリティが高く、新感覚のホラー映画や心理的にじわじわと効いてくる作品も多く登場していて驚きました。例えば、清水崇監督の映画や染谷将太さん出演の作品は、その緊張感と独特の世界観に引き込まれました。どの作品もそれぞれ個性が強く、派手な演出だけでなく静かに恐怖を感じさせる作りが多かったのが印象的です。 また、映画館を週末に複数回ハシゴすることで、激しいアクション映画から繊細なドラマ系まで幅広いジャンルを楽しめました。大人になってから映画の好みも深まり、ジャンルの壁を越えた多様な表現を受け入れられるようになったのだと実感しています。これが毎月続けば理想ですが、お財布との相談は必要ですね（笑）。 さらに、ベルリン国際映画祭で国際映画批評家速盟賞を受賞した作品や、SXSW映画祭最優秀演技賞受賞作品など、国内外で高評価を得た注目作も上映されており、映画ファンとしては見逃せません。私自身、印象的だったのは、犬視点のホラー映画や雪に覆われた耽美的な世界を舞台にした映像美あふれる作品など、これまでにない斬新な試みの作品に触れられたことです。 このように多様な作品群が揃う中で、自分の好きなタイプの映画を探しながら週末を充実させるのはとても楽しい経験です。8月以降も前売り券を購入している映画が多く、映画館ハシゴの旅はまだまだ続きそうです。これからも新しい発見や感動を求めて、積極的に映画館に足を運びたいと思います。映画の魅力を再発見する素晴らしい夏になりそうです。
