What you’ll need:
🌾 3 cups of whole wheat flour
🥚 2 eggs
🧀 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
🍗 3/4 cup of chicken broth (or water)
🫚 2 teaspoons of turmeric (for color)
Oven: 350°
1. Place parchment paper on a cookie tray.
2. Mix all ingredients together completely. This dough will feel much like a bread dough. You will need to kneed it together with your hands to get all ingredients incorporated. If dough is too wet, add more flour. If dough is too dry, add a tablespoon of water at a time.
3. Flour your surface and roll out the dough to about 1/2” thick. You can use any cookie cutter shape that u you prefer, but if you plan to make a Pot O’ Gold, you can use a frosting tip for very small treats or a 1”-2” biscuit cutter.
4. They will not expand much, so you don’t need much room in between each shape on the tray. Cook for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

this recipe made A LOT of treats. You can store them in the freezer so they last longer. They will only last outside of the fridge for about two weeks.
