Please no judgement, just need a push the rightway
I’ve always and forever kept pictures of all of my exes so that I can least remember that there was something good or to remember a time where I felt a certain feeling but I need some thoughts.
I promise this isn’t me holding onto them or missing them I don’t go back to look at the photos. But I have an app called timehop where you can connect all socials and your photos and it shows you everything you posted or took on each day of the year. I like to look back at times but of course I run into pictures/videos of my exes.
Im happy in the best relationship I could ever ask for, like he’s the one I know it. And especially out of respect for him I’ve been debating on if I should or not.
Please be respectful if this seems weird to ya’ll thats fine just lmk WITHOUT JUDGING ME lol
Thank you in advance 🤗
Many people find comfort in preserving memories from their past relationships, not as a sign of lingering attachment but as a way to remember growth and experiences that shaped them. Keeping photos of exes can serve as reminders of lessons learned and moments of personal development. It's important to acknowledge that having these memories doesn't necessarily imply missing the past or detracting from the present relationship. Using apps like Timehop to revisit old photos is common, but encountering images of ex-partners might bring up mixed feelings. When in a committed and fulfilling relationship, communication with your current partner about your feelings can promote trust and understanding. Transparency about why you keep these photos—for reflection rather than rekindling old emotions—can alleviate any doubts or insecurities. Respect for your current relationship is paramount, and deciding to keep or delete those photos should be based on what fosters your emotional well-being and relationship health. For some, removing the images might help focus on the present without distraction, while for others, keeping them as personal history is harmless. Ultimately, everyone's emotional process is unique. Seeking advice without judgment—as you have done—is a healthy step toward balancing respect for the past and commitment to the present. Remember, it’s okay to reflect on your journey, appreciate your growth, and prioritize open conversations with your partner to navigate these feelings together.

I delete them the second we break up cus I don’t need to hold onto anything
