When did you realize they were “the one”?

I met my boyfriend working at a theme park, kind of. Technically we met in high school in passing, kind of. In reality I never thought we’d have been together until I was swiping on hinge 6 hours after a break up and saw that he had swiped right. This led to a several month cat and mouse situation where he would try to get me to go out with him and I would freak out and say no.

Eventually we started seeing each other as friends. I instantly became attached.

I realized he was the one for me when he let me go on an hour rant about A Debt Of Time which is the best Harry Potter Fanfic I have ever read. He swears he knew before that, back when he couldn’t get me to go on a date.

I want to know when you realized they were the one? Or when did you realize they weren’t?
