Audiobook to do list

I love audiobooks a lot. I usually have one playing at all times and love to listen to a lot of them. This month I have had, romance, horror, ya, nonfiction and mystery novels.

Video games 10/10- This is my favorite activity to do while listening to an audio book. While I can’t listen to an audiobook and play Fortnite or Marvel Rivals, I will listen to audiobooks while playing the sims, two point games or more recently animal shelter 2. If you don’t like pc gaming or just prefer your phone it also makes those match games really fun.

Cooking 9/10- I love cooking but the only issue about listening to an audiobook while cooking is I usually have a recipe to use. It’s usually fine but on the days I get overwhelmed by air it’s not great.

Crocheting 8/10- I lose count of stitches.

Tanning 9/10- it’s fine I just get bored sitting outside sometimes. I like using the chapters as a timer for when to flip.

Untangling yarn 6/10- This task just is annoying.

Driving 7/10- It was great when I had a long commute but isn’t as great when I have my sister in the car. I loved treating it like a gossip session.

Listening to hardcore romance while organizing merchandise at Claire’s 12/10- I loved working at Claire’s unfortunately there were just too few employees for me not to get burned out. Listening to books was amazing at making me not lose my mind when it was just me and it was slow. (Leena if you’re reading this I’m sorry for having earbuds in but also it was literally a blizzard and no one was there.)

Read moreListening to audiobooks has become a popular way to enjoy literature while engaging in various activities, and pairing audiobooks with tasks can greatly enhance productivity and entertainment value. Video gaming stands out as an excellent companion for audiobooks, especially with games that do not require intense auditory focus, such as The Sims, Two Point Hospital, or Animal Shelter 2. These games allow listeners to immerse themselves in stories without sacrificing game enjoyment. Similarly, mobile match games provide a fun and accessible option for those who prefer phone gaming while listening. Cooking is another popular activity to complement audiobook listening. While following recipes might sometimes demand concentration, audiobooks can add enjoyment and relaxation during more routine or repetitive cooking tasks. Audiobook chapters can even serve as informal timers for cooking or other timed activities, such as tanning. Crafting hobbies like crocheting and yarn untangling benefit from the companionship of audiobooks, helping to reduce monotony and make these detailed tasks more enjoyable, although some listeners note challenges like losing track of stitches during intense storytelling. For those with lengthy commutes or road trips, driving offers a great opportunity to listen to favorite genres, enhancing the journey and sometimes turning the car ride into a lively conversation or gossip session with companions. Unique personal experiences, like organizing merchandise while listening to hardcore romance audiobooks, highlight how audiobooks can transform otherwise mundane or stressful work environments into more pleasant and engaging moments. The Spaulding Household's gaming screenshot mentioned in the OCR content reflects the diverse and immersive experiences possible when combining audiobooks with various activities. These integrations demonstrate how audiobooks can fit seamlessly into different lifestyles, enhancing both leisure and productivity. By exploring different audiobook genres—including romance, horror, young adult, nonfiction, and mystery—you can find the perfect narrative to accompany your preferred activity, enriching your daily routines and maximizing your enjoyment.

Audiobooks and gaming? Genius combo. Might try this while playing Animal Crossing later.
