Making my dreams come true
So earlier this year I was asked and joined my first creator program. Since then I've made lots of friends, got invited into the amazon program and have started to feel okay posting again.
I am a person behind the screen, I have so much anxiety and hope and fears so I want to be honest about the process while I work towards this new goal.
Next Weeks Schedule (as long as everything goes well) is
Monday- Authors I reach for
Tuesday- book mail or my Libby holds
Wednesday- Whichever doesn't get posted on Tuesday.
Thursday- My Must Reads
Friday- Witches and magic (13 days until Halloween)
Saturday- My review of all 6 scared Sexy Books
Sunday- Classic Horror
All of which you can find here on Lemon8. I will be trying to post videos to Tik Tok if you prefer videos but I love a good cross post button.
I'm working on a video essay about book banning, inspired by how many times I had to say "yeah that's what a book ban is" this last week. However I don't know if I'll be able to finish it because I work all week and want to get my rivals games done so I can be ready for cross progression.
I also post to my story on Tik Tok and have been going live there when I can. I might be streaming the monster high Fortnite game this week.

Starting a creator journey, especially as a micro-influencer, can feel like a whirlwind of excitement and apprehension. I know the feeling of being a "micro micro micro influencer" all too well, navigating the hopes and fears that come with putting yourself out there. It’s easy to get caught up in the comparison game or feel the weight of imposter syndrome, but I’ve found that embracing vulnerability and sharing the real process has been incredibly freeing. One of the biggest hurdles for me was overcoming anxiety around posting. What helped immensely was setting a clear, yet flexible, content schedule. Like my planner for the week of October 13-19, having a general outline for topics such as authors I love, book mail, must-reads, or even fun themes like witches and classic horror, takes a lot of mental load off. It helps to batch content ideas and even create drafts in advance. Remember, consistency beats perfection, and your audience appreciates the effort more than flawless execution every single time. Diversifying content across platforms is another game-changer. While Lemon8 is fantastic for in-depth posts, I’ve found that cross-posting videos to TikTok can reach a broader audience, and a dedicated YouTube channel, even if it's one I sometimes "neglect," offers a space for longer-form content. For instance, working on a detailed "video essay" about book banning requires more research than a quick TikTok, and having a platform like YouTube for it makes sense. Don't be afraid to experiment with different formats, from quick reviews to in-depth discussions inspired by an Audible listen. And let's talk about self-care – it's non-negotiable for creators! The journey can be demanding, and it’s important to find ways to refuel your mind and body. For me, that often looks like enjoying a comforting, hearty meal, like a homemade anti-inflammatory soup with fresh bread bowls, after a busy day of content creation or diving into gaming. These moments of quiet and self-nourishment are just as vital as the time spent planning and creating. They help prevent burnout and keep the creative spark alive. Remember, your well-being directly impacts your creativity. Take care of yourself, stay authentic, and enjoy the process of bringing your unique voice to the world!

Thanks for showing us the BTS of your craft! I’m also trying to become an influencer, and the way you display your daily life and struggles helps me to understand nobody is perfect and encourages me to keep going! Thank you!!! 🥰❤️
